Shopware 6
Connect your Shopware 6 shop to Pricana with Pricana's app or an integration: products read into your assortment, approved gross prices written back with their net.
On this page
Pricana connects to Shopware 6 (6.5 and later) in one of two ways. Both read the same data and write the same prices; neither runs code in your shop.
With Pricana's app
#- Download the app: PricanaApp.zip.
- In Shopware, Extensions → My extensions → Upload extension, choose the file, then Install and Activate. Shopware asks you to grant the app's permissions: reading products, manufacturers, media, taxes and currencies, and updating products.
- In Catalogues → Products, click Connect Pricana (in the list's actions). A new tab opens Pricana's portal: sign in if you aren't, and click Connect the shop. The link holds for 15 minutes and works once.
Shopware registers the app with Pricana when you install it (each request is signed), and gives it an integration of its own; Pricana keeps its credentials encrypted. Uninstalling the app in Shopware disconnects the shop at once; deactivating it pauses the connection (nothing is read or written) until you activate it again.
When Shopware registers the app again for a connected shop (a new secret, a shop that moved to another address), Pricana accepts it only if the request is also signed with the shop's current secret, which Shopware 6.6.10.15 and 6.7.8.1 and later do. The connection then takes the new access and keeps its settings. On an older version, uninstall the app (or disconnect the shop in the portal) and install it again.
With an integration of your own
#- In Shopware, Settings → System → Integrations → Add integration, with the administrator role or a role that may read and write products.
- Copy the access key ID and the secret access key (shown only now).
- In the portal, Assortment → Import and settings → Shop connection → Shopware 6: your shop's address and both keys.
What Pricana reads
#Each product without variants, and each variant, is a product of your assortment. A variant takes what it doesn't set from its parent, as Shopware does (name, manufacturer, price, purchase price, picture); a parent with variants isn't sold itself and is skipped.
| Shopware | Pricana |
|---|---|
| Product number | SKU |
| EAN | GTIN |
| Manufacturer number | MPN |
| Manufacturer | brand |
| Name | title |
| Price (gross, default currency) | your price |
| List price | strike-through price (checked against your lowest price of the last 30 days, section 11 PAngV) |
| Purchase price (net) | purchase price |
| Stock | stock |
The shop is read when you connect it and every six hours, and replaces file and feed imports. Reading runs in the background: the portal shows it until the products are in (a few minutes for a large catalogue).
Writing prices
#Writing is off until an owner or admin turns it on, and starts as a dry run. Then Pricana writes approved gross prices in your default currency every two minutes, with the net from the product's tax rate (its parent's, for a variant without one), never while the kill switch is on and never during the trial. Before each price it checks again that the shop still has the price the suggestion started from and that the new one is within the floor and the maximum. See Concepts: repricing.
