About Pricana
Pricana watches the prices of online shops in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, so that retailers can price with confidence and teams can build on clean price data.
Why Pricana exists
Online prices change several times a day. Retailers who check them by hand fall behind. Retailers who follow the cheapest shop give away their margin.
Pricana does the watching: it reads competitors’ prices, matches them to each product and suggests prices that keep a shop competitive without going below its floor.
The same data, matched and with its history, serves brands, agencies, developers and analysts.
How we collect prices
PricanaBot reads only public pages, identifies itself, follows robots.txt and reservations against data mining, and never bypasses bot protection. Every source is reviewed before its data reaches a customer.
